Gems that Inspire, Teach, Collaborate
Creative Snuggles blankets are designed to be practical, but creatively fun to keep and make some lasting memories. Our creative blankets are inspired by design in everyday objects, artists, publications, and other portals to discover and experience the wonders of creative thinking, ideas, and activities. Below are some thoughts and resources that may inspire you!

FOR THE LOVE OF DESIGN
COLLECTIONSCreative Snuggles is the child of passion for design, fabric, and the need to create. It’s what designers and artists do. It’s almost impossible to ignore the siren call to get busy and make something. I heeded the call years ago selecting yards of fabric to create soothing, bold, arty, colorful blankets for family, friends and donate to children in shelters. Design and art spark the imagination and our personal blankets are a lovely way to incorporate creative design and art into everyday living. More blankets with fabrics created by indie designers are in the works!

DEAR SISTER ART
LORI RODGER - ETSY ARTMy sister, Lori, has been an artist pretty much all her life. She is also my favorite inspiration not only because she is an amazing artist, but because she is 100% dedicated to doing the hard work to be a full-time artist. She is constantly learning new techniques and creating new designs, all while managing a large and active Etsy site. It is not always easy, or fun, and not for the faint of heart. She loves being able to create unique art from a lump of cold clay that, when completed, will be certainly be enjoyed by customers, family, and friends.

UPPERCASE MAGAZINE
UPPERCASE MAGAZINEI picked up my first copy of UPPERCASE Magazine two years. It is one of the most exciting, inviting, practical, and creative publications I've had the joy of reading. UPPERCASE is the vision of Janine Vangool who offers artists a wide-open creative channel to explore, discover, and share. UPPERCASE is published quarterly, has no ads, just devoted members around the world. At the top of the page is a photo of my UPPERCASE library which I happily share with fellow artists. Visit UPPERCASE today to be impressed and inspired! Thank you, Janine.
